Property managers, leasing agents and business development managers play a pivotal role within each of our businesses.
No matter your skillset, there’s a position in property management for you. Our property management teams are highly valued within our business, and get to participate in regular recognition, training and wellbeing initiatives that ensure you continue to thrive in what can be a stressful environment. With a portfolio of over 5000 properties across Brisbane, Place are committed to ensuring we have the most innovative systems, training and support for property management teams so that they can deliver outstanding results for our clients and themselves.
Use your organisational skills, thorough attention to detail and true passion for being a problem solver to ensure that tenants and landlords receive the highest level of customer care, and no stone is unturned. To excel in property management, you will have a positive attitude and possess a solution focussed approach. You will tackle problems head on; no challenge is too great for our property management team.
Leasing is an incredibly important part of the entire property management process. Our leasing agents are the first point of contact for tenants and make the first impressions on the property and the company responsible for managing it. Leasing agents are process driven and thrive off helping others and creating a seamless experience for tenants. Communication is key, as you will often be working with tenants and landlords whilst bridging the gap between business development managers and property managers.
Business development managers have the responsibility of building the offices rent roll whilst maintaining long term relationships with existing landlords. In contrast to sales agents, transactions with clients are ongoing, meaning communication and the ability to build trust and rapport is paramount. Our BDM’s believe in the Place service offering and can leverage the success of the brand in the Brisbane marketplace to obtain business.
At Place, we have a Director of Property Management and Property Management Operations Manager who all team members have direct and unlimited access to. They are responsible for ensuring teams work in the most effective way possible, whilst also being available should a complex issue need to be escalated. Though office teams develop their own rhythms, the leaders dedicate time to meet with every team member to ensure you can communicate any ideas, queries or concerns. This leadership structure means that property management teams always have the support and knowledge of experienced professionals.
In line with our ‘learn it all’ culture, all property management staff participate in specialised training. From our BDM Grow club or Team Leader Training to CRM Training and Property Management training, there’s always something to ensure we are providing the best possible service to landlords and tenants who put their trust in Place. We're also passionate about celebrating success and property management teams do this regularly, not only at company events, but at dedicated property management conferences and events.
“The pandemic made me rethink my career and it led me to Place, and I’m so glad it did. I was unsure about entering the Real Estate industry, especially seeing I had no prior experience, but Place made me feel at home straight away and has nurtured me in the beginning of my real estate career. I wanted to learn from the best in the industry and that’s what I have done. I am now very confident in my role and it makes my day, when our landlords thank me for making their lives easier, and helping great tenants find their next home."
“Since joining Place Ascot as Team Leader of Property Management, I love coming to work and completing my day with a great bunch of people in a very positive environment where you feel appreciated and part of the whole team.”
"I am passionate about helping landlords with their investments and Place has allows me to take that to the next level!"
"I love being a part of a team that is constantly trying to do better. Place property management has allowed me to build a rewarding career."
