What is New Farm known for?
Aside from the incredible lifestyle that this suburb offers, residents and visitors alike can’t go past New Farm Park and the Powerhouse. They’re such iconic destinations in Brisbane and for good reason!
Favourite New Farm Café?
Canthino on James Street or Bellissimo Coffee are our go-to spots in the morning. Joedy’s Café, which is just across from New Farm Park has great coffee and we can’t go past Chouquette without getting one of their Croissants!
Favourite New Farm Restaurant and go-to dish?
Biànca on James Street is amazing! The Pumpkin Capellacci paired with a Margatini is…Chef’s kiss!
Best way to get around the suburb?
The walkability is amazing – everything is a short stroll away! If you’re planning on crossing the Brisbane River, hopping on the City Cat from the New Farm Park Ferry Terminal is another great way to get around and take in the sights at the same time.
Local attractions and places to visit?
The Riverwalk, Jan Power’s Farmers Market on a Saturday morning and Howard Smith Wharves for a sunset drink!

The New Farm Parkrun on Saturday mornings are a great way to get active, catch up with friends and meet new people in your local community!
