With so many great events in July, we were wondering how August would top it. Despite school holidays being over, there’s still plenty of activities for all ages to enjoy this month!

Faulty Towers the Dining Experience

If you’re after a hilarious ‘dinner and a show’ dining experience, then this event at the Sherwood Services Club isn’t one to miss!
Basil Fawlty is an eccentric host, to say that least, and for $69 (members) or $74 (non-members), you can have an evening filled with fun, laughter and a good feed.

Starts at 60 - Graceville Community Meet-Up
Where: Cafe Beesting
When: 7th August, 10am - 12pm
It can get a bit harder to make friends as life goes on, but this event is great if you’re looking for a fun morning out with some great company.
Starts at 60 are hosting a meet-up at Cafe Beesting in Graceville for community members to meet up for coffee, cake and chats.

Join the wine masters from Leconfield Wineries for a three course meal accompanied by Leconfield’s new range of wines.
Not only will you experience delicious food and wine, but you’ll have a chance to meet the head winemaker and ask any questions you may have!

Habitat Brisbane Bushcare Working Bee
Where: Rikki Bailey Park, Avalon St, Oxley

Passionate about the environment?
Then head along to help locals protect and restore the Oxley bushland.
These events happen once a month, and the group is happy for anyone and everyone to come along, even just for a once-off session of assisting.
You will be restoring, protecting and creating local bushland for locals (both human and local fauna) to enjoy!
