Place Estate Agents is excited to introduce the new role of Growth Partner, a key position designed to propel the company’s expansion strategy.

With a remarkable track record in the industry and diverse international experience, Charlotte Agace is set to drive Place’s growth and elevate the brand’s market presence in exciting new ways.

Charlotte will be working under the guidance of Amy Wolter, Head of People and Human Resources, who has been with Place for more than two decades. Her experience is complimentary to the high-level growth and recruitment strategy.

“We have audacious goals, and to achieve them, we require a strong, dedicated and experienced team,” Amy said.

Place plans to expand into 18 new markets across the greater Brisbane area, including Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Moreton Bay and Redlands regions over the next eight years.

CEO Damian Hackett emphasised the goal of cultivating exceptional leaders and building authentic partnerships.

“After spending 22 years of refining our unique business model, Place is poised to scale responsibly and collaborate with outstanding individuals,” Damian said.

We interviewed Charlotte Agace about her journey so far and what it means to be Place’s Growth Partner.

Can you tell us about your career journey so far?

After graduating from the University of Queensland with a degree in Business Management, majoring in HR, I explored various career paths. My journey began with internships in different industries, including accounts at a UK recruitment company and luxury travel planning, where I managed trips with minimum spends of £100,000.

I then moved to Dubai to work with an events company, collaborating with prestigious brands like Mont Blanc and Malibu.

Returning to Australia, I started my career in real estate with an agency, where I quickly found my niche in luxury sales while working as a buyers’ concierge. I enjoyed working with top clients and the finest homes in Brisbane.

My career continued at Sotheby’s, renowned for its prestige listings and auction house, where I became a co-agent. Recognising my strengths and shifting focus, I transitioned away from selling to join Place.

What does your role as Growth Partner at Place entail?

As Growth Partner, my role is to highlight the Place experience across the industry. Alongside Amy Wolter, I’m responsible for identifying challenges that agents face and demonstrating how Place can address these issues.

My goal is to make transitions smooth and supportive and build strong relationships within the network. I’ll also assist with office recruitment strategies and bring new agents into the Place network, ensuring our brand grows responsibly with the right people.

What are your goals as Growth Partner?

I am essentially a talent scout for the brand. My overall goal is to help grow the Place family with talented and enthusiastic salespeople. My focus is on facilitating smooth transitions and supporting the growth of our offices, showcasing the significant contributions our teams make.

Why did you choose to join Place?

I was drawn to Place for its dynamic, forward-thinking approach and its innovative real estate model. With an excellent reputation, strong leadership, and significant growth potential, Place aligns with my professional values and goals. Amy Wolter played a large role in my recruitment.

The company’s commitment to high-quality marketing and its strong sense of community were key factors in my decision. I wanted to be part of a company where culture is paramount, and Place offers that and more with its community feel and exceptional events.

Why should agents consider joining Place?

Place is the home of the highest performing agents in Southeast Queensland, where company’s purpose is to “help people find their happy Place”.

The brand is the market leader in the areas it operates in and that’s a testament to the comprehensive support network, including performance coaching, HR assistance, and a collaborative environment with top performers.

Place offers a strong market presence, a culture that celebrates achievements, and a sense of community. The company’s values are respect, innovation, excellence, and commitment to community, providing agents with unique resources and support that set us apart from other brands.

What makes Place stand out in your opinion?
