IDEA is Australia’s largest and most successful independent design awards program that attracts hundreds of entries from practices and designers from across Australia.
Launched by inside magazine in 2003, the program celebrates the best of Australian interior and product design across 13 categories and six Special Awards.
Place’s James Street office, home of Place Professional Services, Place New Farm, and Place Projects, has been shortlisted for IDEA’s Workplace Under 1000 sqm Category and is featured alongside other office spaces such as the Aje headquarters in Sydney, Langdon Coffee Merchants, Melbourne and Black and White Waiters, Sydney.
Place’s flagship office encapsulates state-of-the-art facilities and has been brought to life by our industry leading partners, with custom design by Collectivus and the interior fit-out by UNITA. Spanning across five levels, our James Street office features 20 meeting rooms and collaborative spaces, a concierge service and even a Get Smart-inspired “Cone of Silence”.
The James Street office adopts the comfort, sophistication and feeling of a residential home.
The winners of the IDEA awards will be announced at the IDEA Gala Party in November in addition to being published online and profiled in a special IDEA 2021 edition of inside magazine.
