Place Estate Agent’s One Summer Day campaign is off to a flying start, with close to $40 million in sales across the landmark event so far.
The five-day seasonal auction spree is at half time and already 30 properties have sold across One Summer Day so far.
“We reviewed the industry data showing buyer activity is strong in January; this first-of-a-kind campaign has further confirmed that to us that Summer is a great time to sell,” said Place Managing Director and Auctioneer, Paul Curtain.
Dozens more Place properties are scheduled for auction between Feb 1 and Feb 4.
Place Chief Auctioneer, Peter Burgin, said the bidding has been strong.
“The response has been overwhelming and we are thrilled with the outcomes for buyers and sellers,” he said.
“A highlight is 1 Parkside Lane, Bald Hills, listed with Drew Davies and Patrick McKinnon of Place Ascot.”
“The auction for this luxury estate paused at $8.25M, with negotiations ongoing,” Mr Burgin said.
A Raceview property sold this morning (Thursday) under the hammer for $595,000, indicating both ends of the Brisbane property market are still in high demand.
A final clearance rate of 75% as a minimum is expected based on current results for the One Summer Day campaign.
