With leafy green streets and loads of park space, the western suburbs are a beautiful part of Brisbane.

We're sure it will come as no surprise to know the abundance of great locations to take your furry friend for a day out.
We’ve compiled our top five places to take your pup for some off-leash fun.

Faulkner Graceville Dog Park

80 Waratah Ave, Graceville

Locals in Graceville love to meet up regularly with their furbabies at the Faulkner Dog Park in Graceville.

An additional benefit to the doggy socialisation is the plethora of facilities nearby.

Netball courts, kids playgrounds and and lots of park means there’s something for the whole family!

Fig Tree Pocket Off Leash Dog Park

94A Botticelli St, Fig Tree Pocket

The Fig Tree Pocket dog park is fantastic as it has two separate areas for differently sized dogs.

So if your little pooch is a little scared by big dogs (or your big dog is intimidated by little ones), then it’s easy to separate them at this park.

There’s also another park just across the road with even more awesome facilities like bike tracks and playgrounds.

Delapine Place Dog Off-leash Park

75 Fremont St, Seventeen Mile Rocks

This park is possibly one of the biggest on the list!

With over 3000 square metres of space for your pups to run around in, it’s a great place to tire out even the most energetic of pooches.

While you’re in the area, there are also plenty of other parks that the kids will appreciate (although your furbaby will have to stay on their leash!)

Green Hill Reservoir Dog Park

278 Russell Terrace, Chapel Hill

The Green Hill Reservoir is a bit different and a must-see if you’re looking for a new spot for your pooch.

With city views, this pet friendly park is great for owners and pups alike.

There’s also plenty of space for your dogs to explore off-leash around the old reservoir!

Oxley Dog Park

39 Englefield Rd, Oxley QLD 4075

Anyone who lives in 4075 knows how close knit the community is, and the Oxley Dog Park is no exception!

This park is pretty cool because it even contains dog agility equipment so you can teach your pup some insanely cool tricks.

From ramps to jumping through hoops, this is the spot to get your pooch on the road to a doggy gold medal!
