Built back in 1904, this classical home has an interesting history, and one which is very close to the hearts of the owners of 29 Murray Street, Wilston, Jo and John McGuire.
“As a girl I loved the house and it was always a place that had fascinated me, ever since I knew my parents had got married here” says Jo.
Adding to this rich history is the home's recent venture on the popular Foxtel Lifestyle show, I Own Australia’s Best home.
“We renovated and styled the place ourselves from scratch. This is our family home so it was really special to be able to share our love for the house with others,” says Jo.
This Saturday, Jo and her family are opening up the house and welcoming those who voted for their home on TV show to come and see the house first hand.
“We’re putting on a little tea party so we can thank everyone in person and let them have a bit of a look around,” says Jo.
We were lucky enough to get a private grand tour of the amazing home. Oozing with character, we instantly fell in love.
