Jonathan joined the real estate industry in 2020, just as Covid-19 swept the world, but did not let the pandemic impact his new career journey.
In just two years, Jonathan managed to sell millions of dollars’ worth of real estate within an established northside Brisbane team. He was then able to create a network of trusted and repeat clients of his own.
“When I entered the industry, I wanted to do everything properly, which meant not skipping any steps. Starting in a team was the best way to learn how to become a successful real estate agent,” Jonathan said.
Prior to real estate, Jonathan was a recruitment consultant and he explained how the skills are highly transferable.
“My long-term recruitment role required being relatable, empathetic, relationship building and having tough conversations around business and employment,” Jonathan said.
“Real estate is much the same – it’s all about relationships, building trust and being a good listener, however, it’s around someone’s most important asset.”
Jonathan decided to join Place Estate Agents because he felt the brand aligned with his desire to dominate in the prestige market.
“We are thrilled to have someone of Jonathan’s background join our Place Nundah team; in such a short time, he has managed to break into a tough market and build a loyal client base,” Place Ascot and Place Nundah Co-Principal, Patrick McKinnon, said.
“We have no doubt he will continue to grow as one of Brisbane’s top agents.”
Hailing from New Zealand, the 33-year-old was also a single dad prior to meeting his wife.
He said his family is a source of pride and his most outstanding achievement.
Jonathan is the fifth experienced agent to join the Place Ascot and Place Nundah team in just four months.
