Paul Curtain is a founding partner and managing director of south-east Queensland’s residential property organisation Place Estate Agents, and has been an instrumental force in the growth, success, and direction of the Place operation.
Originating from one stand-alone office in Brisbane’s eastern suburb of Bulimba, Place has grown to a total staff of in excess of 400 quality people. The ‘Place family’ consists of 18 offices including a dedicated projects team, sales and property management professionals, in house and on-site auctioneering, as well as franchise support.
In 2023, Place’s flagship office entered a new phase of growth under Paul’s leadership. Forming the Place One Group, the Bulimba, Camp Hill, Cannon Hill, and Carindale offices came together to operate as “one team in four locations.” By 2024, the group expanded to six locations with the addition of the Graceville and Wynnum Manly offices, extending its reach “from the west to the water” and reinforcing its unified approach to delivering exceptional service across the region.
Throughout Paul’s real estate career of over twenty-nine years, he has had many notable achievements including a win as the REIQ Auctioneer of the Year and has since gone on to mentor many auctioneering professionals to date.
