John Bradley Sometimes the things that stand out in life are the ones we want to forget - and while John Bradley has experienced his share of difficult negotiations, a heart-warming relationship built through real estate is one of his most memorable moments. “My first involvement with Place was when I was actually working for another agency,” John says. “I had sold a couple's home and was helping them buy another one, but they would only look through properties if I was with them, we looked through 40 houses before we found 'the one'. “They might be older than me but they have become like a part of the family - from regular dinners to attending my wedding.” The couple, whose photo in front of their 'sold' sign sits proudly on John's desk, is one of his many satisfied clients from Fig Tree Pocket and the surrounding suburbs. Covering everything from “$500,000 houses that people want renovate, to $10 million riverfront mansions”, John loves the western suburb's diversity. “It is such a privilege to come into someone's home and see what they have done to it,” says John, who was a fifth-generation Dayboro dairy farmer before swapping milk troughs and 4am starts for real estate contracts more than seven years ago. Disciplined, focused and cool under pressure, John is also a leading figure in Australia's Tae Kwon Do fraternity - competing for the past 21 years, the former champion and national coach still runs classes with participants aged from children to grandparents.
