Steve told us a story of how he had sold another property. The owners were happy to sell and accept the price he had at the time, yet he told them there was more money left in the buyer and to wait.
Well, low and behold the same situation happened to us. An offer from his database of buyers came through in two days of us listing the property. My wife and I started looking for an agent to represent us in April with the hope that we could list our house in early May. Both Andy and I were impressed with the attention to detail and the personal service Michael Stewart provided with the recent sale of our home in Clayfield. The initial appraisal document was far more detailed than provided for any of our previous house sales. Michael also initiated his attendance at several auctions of similar houses in the area in order to ascertain the current market situation so as for us to make an accurate assessment of our own house situation. Michael made recommendations regarding our house presentation (i.e providing a professional cleaning service in order to minimilise disruption to current tenants), and the photograph shoot and interactive video were both very professional and showed our home in a very positive light.
The most impressive factor which we believe went way beyond the realm of a normal Sales Agent was Michael's initiative to approach the council upon learning of their intended road works outside our house. His approach and request for them to reschedule road works intended for the street outside our home certainly favoured our selling and presentation chances and opportunities. Michael was happy to call us with updates throughout the weekends and was always prompt with response to our questions. At a time when the market was a little slow we still managed to sell our house within a quick time frame which lessened the stress we needed to endure.
