I have been in Property Development and Construction for the past 25 years. My last residential development was completed in October 2013 at 50 Holman St Kangaroo Point. I appointed Simon Caulfield from Place to sell the 7 single floor 3 bedrooms apartments.

I found James to be a very professional and energetic real estate agent. Throughout the listing period of my property James was constantly advising on and thinking of ways to attract buyers interest and traffic through the open home inspections. I first met James at my neighbours open home. Our house was also on the market, and had been for just short of 90 days. So when I learnt that James had already sold my neighbours home and for a really good price, I asked for a meeting with him. We still had 3 weeks to go with my current agent. They did not charge for advertising and was not out of pocket at all, but at the same time, in 90 days we only had 6 people view our property and no offers, we had also been advised to reduce our asking price. This was something that angered my husband.


We listened to James and decided to sign with him and do everything he asked to get our house sold. He explained to us the importance of advertising and marketing and getting our property out there. Within a few opens we had our first offer. It was not what we wanted so decided to continue and not accept.
