I found James to be a very professional and energetic real estate agent. Throughout the listing period of my property James was constantly advising on and thinking of ways to attract buyers interest and traffic through the open home inspections. His high level of enthusiasm and passion for selling is what gave me a lot of reassurance throughout the whole process that the sale was in good and capable hands. This was important especially at a time when the market for units was definitely not a 'sellers market'. 

During the sale finalisation period, there were a couple of complications that arose during the conditional period, where the odds felt truly against the sale from proceeding. I first met James at my neighbours open home. Our house was also on the market, and had been for just short of 90 days. So when I learnt that James had already sold my neighbours home and for a really good price, I asked for a meeting with him. We still had 3 weeks to go with my current agent. They did not charge for advertising and was not out of pocket at all, but at the same time, in 90 days we only had 6 people view our property and no offers, we had also been advised to reduce our asking price. This was something that angered my husband.

We listened to James and decided to sign with him and do everything he asked to get our house sold. He explained to us the importance of advertising and marketing and getting our property out there. Within a few opens we had our first offer. It was not what we wanted so decided to continue and not accept. We changed a few things, more along the lines on how I was presenting our house, but never what we both agreed our place was worth.
